Andrzej Kołodziejek
Andrzej Kołodziejek (born in Włodawa in 1935 – died in Puławy in 2001) initially studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, then transferred to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he trained in the studio of Professor Artur Nacht-Samborski. From 1970 to 1978, he served as the president of the Lublin Branch of the ZPAP and as a lecturer at the Institute of Artistic Education at UMCS. The artist was primarily inspired by Kazimierz Dolny, which became the subject of his paintings. He exhibited his works many times in solo and group exhibitions. At the turn of 1965 and 1966, a retrospective painting exhibition of the artist was held at the BWA in Lublin.
