DISPLAYS: Andrzej Partum was born on December 16, 1938, died on March 1, 2002. He came from an artistic family, but was orphaned, which made his childhood and youth difficult. Initially, he took up poetry. Subsequently, his activity was primarily provocative - he tried to show the absurdities of the Polish People's Republic. He was also involved in performance art. In 1971, he founded the Poetry Bureau, which operated until 1985. In 1984, Andrzej Partum went to Copenhagen, where in the years 1986-1996 he worked in the School of Positive Nihilism of Art he founded.
