Andrzej Żurański was born on April 25, 1954. He learned painting by copying the pictures of old painters. His works were presented for the first time in Wałbrzych in 1984 in the rooms of the Książ Castle. He took part in many competitions, incl. in the Painting Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Art. Zygmunt Rafał Pomorski.
