Anna Makać was born in Gdynia (Poland) .

Studied Restoration of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland).

Her icons are painted both in classic style following all iconography canons and her own “modern folk” style.
From 2013 she takes part in international iconography workshops for professional masters-iconographers in Nowica (Poland) and Zamlynie (Ukraine).

In 2016 and 2017 she has coordinated the international art-project “Lutheran Icons” for Finnish Lutheran Church
