Painting and expressing myself through spatial forms is for me a meeting with myself and a constant search by asking myself new questions. I am inspired by everyday life, the contemporary world with all the processes taking place in it: globalization, technologization, digitization, computerization, iconization, standardization and their impact on people and culture. I am interested in the psychological aspect of man as an individual in a clash with the surrounding reality. With an attempt to find ourselves in excess of everything that surrounds us. In a world flooded with plastic and artificiality, which are inherent elements of modern technologies. Anna Stawowczyk was born in Katowice. Currently he lives and works in Warsaw. In 2009/2010 she was associated with the author's Painting Studio of Leon Michny. In 2010/2011, she studied at the European Academy of Arts at the graphics department in the studio of prof. Ryszard Osadczy. In 2016, she graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of prof. Stanisław Baj and in the studio of knowledge about visual activities and structures of prof. Jacek Dyrzyński. Diploma awarded with the 2nd prize by Ewa Tomaszewska.
