Anna Zabielska

My name is Anna Zabielska, I create and live in Krakow. I started my adventure with art in primary school, attending painting and ceramics workshops at the Municipal Cultural Center. After graduating from school, I started working in the sculpture studio of Jerzy Krzyszton and under his supervision I dealt with sculpture, molds and foundry, retouching, conservation of monuments and stucco work. From 2003 to 2019, I ran my own watercolor gallery on the Main Square in Krakow, where I sold my works to tourists, among others. Currently, I still paint with watercolors, although now I have time to deal with and develop other techniques.
In my painting I am inspired by nature, architecture, travels and the people I met, although my works, although so varied, are characterized by vivid colors and light. I chose watercolors because they are unpredictable and intriguing at the same time. I am fascinated by realistic painting, but sometimes I give free rein to my creativity and create abstractions.
My paintings are in private collections all over the world, the Middle and Far East, Asia, Australia, the Americas, Russia and Europe as well as Africa.
I take part in all kinds of workshops, exhibitions and open-air painting, including:
* In 2017, I took part in a multi-day outdoor group 100 watercolors in Wrocław.
* In 2018, my own watercolor exhibition took place at the Mirage club in Krakow.
* In 2018, I took part in the European Watercolor Exhibition & Symposium, which took place in Krakow
* In 2018, Open Air and the ECWS exhibition in Lanckorona.
