Antoni Pastwa
A sculptor and teacher born in 1944 in Brzóza. In the years 1964 - 1970 he studied at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed his diploma under the supervision of Jan Bohdan Chmielewski. In 1974 he was employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Sculpture at his alma mater. From 1978 to 1980 he was a scholarship holder of the Culture Fund of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 1994 he was awarded the title of professor. In the years 1993 - 1996, 1999 - 2002, 2002 - 2006 he was the dean of the Faculty of Sculpture. He works mainly with sculpture and drawing, but also creates sculptures in public spaces.
