Artur Wąsowski

Artur Wąsowski graduated from the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (graduated in 1994). At the same time, he practices painting, applied and artistic graphics, drawing, sculpture and illustration. Participant of many individual and collective exhibitions. In 2010-2012, he was the President of the "Triad" Association of Fine Arts Artists. He lives and works in Konstancin-Jeziorna. The artist's paintings can be found in contemporary art galleries and online galleries. Artur Wąsowski's paintings, through their expression, differentiation of matter and bold colors, radiate a specific energy, at the same time introducing anxiety. The artist freely uses both the template and the text, which, apart from interesting visual combinations, introduces specific content to the image. His canvases are incredibly suggestive and, due to their expressiveness, very "alive". Artur Wąsowski's work is the result of his existential dilemmas as well as spiritual and religious searches. This dualism, the division into the sacred and the profane, materiality and spirituality, is very much felt in her. And it is the themes of Wąsowski's paintings, combined with their expressive, free and varied painting layer, that determine their strength.
