Asya Bayli

I am an artist, brought up in two cultures: Polish and Azerbaijani. I was born in Azerbaijan into a family of artists: painters, sculptors and a puppet theater director. Living and working in Poland for 6 years. I play in the troupe of the "International" theater and run creative workshops and evenings in my art studio WarsawArtRoom. I am inspired by exploring the limits of the human body and its connection with the mind; internal situations and experiences that usually go unnoticed; mythology, flora and fauna (especially birds), film art (David Lynch, Kubrick), magical realism in Ibero-American literature.
