Barbara Maria Żak

I studied Painting, Graphics and Sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław. I obtained a diploma in painting (1980) under the supervision of Professor Konrad Jarodzki. After graduation, there was several years of cooperation with the beautiful world of the "Banialuka" Puppet Theater in Bielsko-Biała. Harlequins, pierrots and theater dolls appeared not only in my scenography, but also infiltrated my painting and ceramic works. Painting works are in the collections of the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the District Museum in Nowy Sącz and in private collections in Poland and abroad. Currently, I deal with painting and unique ceramics.
