Bartek Otocki

Bartek Otocki, born in 1978 in Łódź. Diploma in painting in the studio of prof. Ryszard Hunger at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (2003); In the years 2003–2012 an assistant, then an assistant professor in the painting and drawing studio at the Faculty of Textile and Clothing at the alma mater. Since 2012, he has been running a drawing studio at the Faculty of Painting and New Media of the Academy of Art in Szczecin, since 2014 he has been working as an associate professor.

Works in painting and photography, a multiple curator and juror of painting competitions. Author of four series of works: "Memory Portraits", "Alchemy of Illusions", "Is it safe / Is it safe?" and "Yang!" Participant of over 50 individual and collective exhibitions, including at the Contemporary Museum in Wrocław, the Museum of the History of the City of Łódź, Galeria Bielska BWA, the National Museum in Szczecin, the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. He lives and works in Szczecin.
