Beata Sękiewicz
Beata Sękiewicz was born in 1989 in Częstochowa. She is a graduate of the Art High School. Jacek Malczewski in Częstochowa (specialization: applied graphics, publishing forms). Then she graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Academy of Jan Długosz in Częstochowa, where in 2014 she obtained a diploma in easel painting with prof. Janusz Rafał Głowacki. In 2014, she began studies at the Slovak Catholic University in Ružomberok.
The artist works in the field of painting, drawing, lithography and computer graphics. She holds the AJD Rector's scholarship for the Best Students in 2011-2013.
Sękiewicz took part in several individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, as well as in open-air painting. She is also a multiple scholarship holder in the field of Culture and Art in her hometown of Kłobuck.
Prizes and awards:
- 2012 - honorable mention in the 1st National Painting Competition Chance, Competition for a painting under the slogan: Nature, Kraków
- 2012 - 2nd prize in the National Painting Competition Faces of Mercy in the Spirituality of Europe: St. Elizabeth and Bl. Maria Luiza in the service of Merciful Love, Nysa.
