Bogna Czechowska

Bogna Czechowska studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the years 1983-1988. She obtained a diploma in ceramics in the studio of prof. Rafał Kwinto, and a supplement in textiles under prof. Wojciech Sadley. She paints portraits, fantasy characters and scenes, referring to the aura of fairy tales and happy childhood. Her compositions are characterized by saturated, rich colors and synthetic, simplified forms. In addition to painting, drawing and illustration, she deals with photography, interior design and sculpture. She is the author of the design of the Happy Dog Monument, unveiled in the Mokotowskie Fields in Warsaw on October 2, 2004.
