Denis Chyżawski

Denis Chyżawski, born on October 9, 1987, is an artist whose work delves into the exploration of human potential, the freedom of choice, and the limits of artistic imagination. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from Kyiv, Denis continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where in 2023 he earned his Master's degree with a thesis titled "Penetrability." His mentors, Prof. Maciej Świeszewski and Prof. Maria Targońska, guided him through his artistic development, emphasizing composition, color, and the spatial depth of painting.

Denis is particularly interested in the realm of abstract art, where he explores harmony, composition, and the interplay of colors and forms. His creative process involves an initial stage of spontaneous expression, where he applies color and shapes without premeditation.
