Dorota Buczkowska

Polish artist born in 1971 in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied in the years 1999-2003 at the Faculty of Sculpture (the studio of Prof. Grzegorz Kowalski). In turn, in the years 2002–2003 she was educated at the Center National des Arts Plastiques Villa Arson in Nice, France. He lives and works in Warsaw. She cooperates with Galeria Czarna in Warsaw.

She deals with painting, sculpture, graphics, photography and drawing. In his works, he tackles topics related to the experience of corporality, our biology, depicting them using metaphors, often with a surreal expression.
