EWA MRÓZ

EWA MRÓZ (born 1988, Oława, Poland)

A graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. She has been developing her painting workshop and recognizable style since 2017. The artist has had solo and group exhibitions, e.g. during Expo Klokgebouw in Eindhoven, the Netherlands with "Atelier Velasquez", "Kobieca Strona Sztuki" in Defabryka, where her next solo exhibition will take place this autumn in cooperation with curator Iza Rogala.

Ewa Mróz's paintings are characterized by a rich structure contrasted with the warm and calming colors of hay and burnt umber. She creates obvious and non-obvious, simplified landscapes that stop everyday life. The soothing feeling of Nature, which changes with the seasons, grows, matures, this is the quintessence of her painting.

The artist often talks about spirituality and connection with the universe through contrasting graphic elements: dots, vertical lines. Everyone will see in her paintings as much as they are ready.

Her works are in private collections in Poland, e.g. work "Standing in the choice" from the series "TRANSFORMATION OF AWAKENINGS" in the KoniKreatywy Collection and in foreign collections: in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United States. The paintings are created in three painting cycles: SIMPLE MOMENTS, ELEMENTS and TRANSFORMATION OF AWAKENINGS.
