DISPLAYS: A painter of Bulgarian origin, he studied at the Krakow Academy. In 1938-1939 he had exhibitions in Warsaw, Poznań and Bydgoszcz; he began his painting career already in the interwar years and exhibited his works with great success in many famous art galleries in Europe. Many distinguished personalities from that period posed for his portraits, including: such as: Dutch Queen Wilhelmina, Benito Mussolini, President of Spain Niceto Zamora, President of Switzerland Giuseppe Motta, poet Rabindranath Tagore, Greta Garbo and many, many others. In 1937 he married Zofia Pludowska.
