Halina Pokorska

Halina Pokorska Born in Nowogard. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw - specialization in interior design. Graduated in 1981. Associate member of the ZPAP in Szczecin since 1982. Organizer of plein-airs in Nowogard, Dźwirzyno, Rybokarty. Since 1998 curator and organizer of plein-airs in Świeradów - Zdrój. Co-founder and long-time teacher of the Fine Arts High School in Gryfice. Awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with the honorary badge "Meritorious for Polish Culture". From numerous journeys around the world, a series of paintings and drawings entitled "Travel Sketches" was created. She practices easel painting, drawing, artistic fabric, spatial activities, designing residential, utility and fashion interiors. Individual exhibitions in Poland, Germany and Hungary. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. Works in private collections in Poland and abroad, including the USA, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Germany. Several dozen paintings by the author form a permanent exhibition that can be viewed in the interiors of the Park Hotel and the Buczyński Hotel.
