Ignacy Nowodworski

Ignacy Nowodworski (born 1980 Gdańsk) is a graduate of the Institute of Art of the UO in Opole, graduated with honors in 2005, he obtained a doctoral degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 2018.
In his sculptural works, he uses a variety of materials, such as marble, granite, hard wood species, metal and found objects. Mutual contrasts of materials and structures are a characteristic feature of his multi-material sculptures. Works in the Zachęta collection and in private collections in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA. Author of the statuette PATRON of the Contemporary Art Gallery, the OPOLE LAMAS statuettes of the National Festival of Independent Films and Bridges of Dialogue. Assistant in the sculpture studio of Prof. Marian Molenda (Faculty of Art, UO).
