Ivan Dashko

In this period's works, he was always struck by a certain monumentality in the techniques of masters, the balance between the abiding to the canons in iconography and improvisation with colour. These features often qualitatively distinguish ancient Ukrainian icons from the icon-painting schools of other nations. Having such a strong tradition motivates him to spread and develop it.
