IWONA SZELĄGOWSKA
Iwona Szelagowska's paintings are created with the intention of peace, love and harmony in the world.
"Warmth, energy and elegance" – these are the words used by her painting enthusiasts. The artist was born in Poland. Her talent was revealed in her youth when she created excellent and award-winning works, inspired by the works of van Gogh. At that time, she was taught art by Piotr Wilkoń, the son of a well-known painter and sculptor, Józef Wilkoń. Piotr, an outstanding Polish philologist at the University of Warsaw, an author of children's books, not only discovered an artistic soul in her, but also admitted her to the Theater Club, where she could develop her creative potential.
She studied chemistry at Warsaw University of Technology, and then was a scholarship holder in the field of human resource management.
Iwona is a lover not only of colours, but above all of mountain hiking. She is inspired by nature - blooming fields and unique views. Through experiments with unusual taints, she constantly develops her potential as a painter. The recipients of her work often are surprised with a new composition of shapes and shades. Nature is close to her.
The painter's works are in the collections of Polish and Foreign Collectors. Her artworks were exhibited in Warsaw at the prestigious Art Fair ARTSHOW and Center Praskie Koneser in Warsaw.
We will inform you about new artworks availability in the gallery or at the auction.
