Jacek Wydrzyński
He was born in 1975. He is a graduate of the Lesser Poland People's University in Wzdów, where, under the supervision of mgr A. Kijowski, he obtained a diploma in sculpture. Under the supervision of Master, Mr. Zdzisław Kwasek, he obtained a diploma in wickerwork. He also has journeyman diplomas in sculpture and wickerwork as well as diplomas of an artistic handicraft instructor and a socio-cultural animator. In 2017, he obtained the title of Master of Woodcarving. He is a lecturer in woodcarving and wickerwork at the People's University in Novi Sad.
In his work, he is most inspired by nature and surrealism, abstraction, magical realism, Art Nouveau art, folk art and also Eastern art. His works are a resultant of all these trends in art. He creates woodcarving, wicker installations and land art installations.
The Artist's works are in private collections in Poland, Germany, Scotland and Ireland. They can also be found in the spaces of cities and parks, including Przemyśl, Dynów and Rybotycze.
He regularly participates in open-air sculpture events.
