Jerzy Kamoda
(born in 1927 in Stara Kuźnica, died in 2005 in Kielce) He participated in the works of the Kielce Landscape School. He exhibited mainly in Kielce, but he took part in photography exhibitions in Poland and abroad, receiving awards and distinctions. Initiator and co-organizer of the Polish Landscape Biennale in Kielce (four editions). His works are in the Museum of Photography in Bievers, the National Museum in Kielce, the National Library in Warsaw, and the Forestry Museum in Głuchów. He has also published many albums devoted to the Kielce Land. Author of many photographs published in publishing houses and regional albums (from the series "Ziemia Kielecka" and "Kieleckie Landscapes"). The main subject of the artist's creative interests was sightseeing photography: landscape, nature, architectural monuments, genre scenes, folklore and travel photography (with a favorite maritime theme). He also made attempts and experiments in which he used tono-resolution techniques.
