Joanna Jeżewska-Desperak

Joanna Jeżewska-Desperak graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Opole and studies at the Art Department of the Pedagogical University in Częstochowa (currently the Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Life in Częstochowa). Diploma with honors in the graphic arts studio under the supervision of prof. Ryszard Osadczy in 1997. She works in painting, drawing and teaching.

She has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers since 2007.

In 1994 and 2000 she received an Artistic Scholarship from the President of Częstochowa. In 2017, the Culture Department of the City of Częstochowa published the City Calendar 2017 with paintings by Joanna Jeżewska-Desperak.

In 2020, she was awarded the 2nd prize at the 25 International Eastern Art Salon in Lublin.

In 2020, she was awarded at the 3rd Polish Biennale of Painting "Architectural Landscape" in Bisztynek.
