Karina Góra
Karina Góra is an artist born in 1973 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. She obtained a master's degree in art at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, in the cello class of prof. R. Suchecki. She graduated with honors from directing studies at the PWST in Wrocław. She collaborated with the creator of the Visual Stage, prof. L. Mądzik in the play "The Source", P. Passini in the play "Important Window.Hommage for Maria Stangret". The director of the project jazz and poetry "My Sweet European Fatherland" Komeda / Ptaszyn Wróblewski Sextet with A. Seweryn in the lead role during the 4th Love Polish Jazz Festival.
She developed in painting under the supervision of lecturers at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Its inspiration is art theater, theater of movement and dance as well as paintings by J. Malczewski, S. Wyspiański, E. Schiele. Symbolism, Art Nouveau and the fairy-tale nature of the Pre-Raphaelites are close to her heart. Context and detail comment on reality.
