Katarzyna Garstka was born in 1977. Has Czech-Polish citizenship. She is a painter by education - in 2004 she obtained a master's degree in painting at the Art Institute of the University of Zielona Góra in the studio of prof. Ryszard Woźniak. In 1997-2002, she also studied at the Faculty of Painting at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw.
Artistically, she combines traditional painting and modern animation techniques in her artworks.
