Lucjan Demidowski

Lucjan Demidowski was born in 1946 in Krzeszów Górny. He is a member of ZPAF since 1971. He is also a two-time scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art and the Mayor of Lublin, winner of the Lublin Artistic Award in 1972. He is a lecturer at the Lublin School of Photography.

From 1973, he dealt with the illusory character of a photographic image. Beginning with the series Real - apparent (exhibition at Galeria Remont, Warsaw 1974), he consistently develops this problem in subsequent cycles called Mirrors from 1989 (Small Gallery Exhibition, Warsaw 1990), and then from 1994 to the present Illusive Images.
