He comes from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. In 2010 he graduated from the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of prof. Jacek Waltosia. Your diploma, pt. "Death and lust" he devoted to the motif of Saint. Sebastian in culture. His first individual exhibition was "Winter Story" (2011) in the Zderzak Gallery in Krakow, the presented paintings could see palatial interiors, winter landscapes and portraits of movie stars kept in the atmosphere of romanticism and decadence, beloved by the artist. The second individual exhibition "Composition of paintings" (2013, Galeria Zderzak) was also kept in a similar tone. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalog published by Galeria Zderzak. In 2013, Stokłosa received the Award of the Marshal of the Lower Silesia Voivodship awarded in the Geppert Competition. In 2014, Stokłosa's paintings were published in the edition of Thames & Hudson, London-New York by Kurt Beers' 100 Painters of Tomorrow, presenting a selection of the most promising modern painters and painters. In 2015, Łukasz Stokłosa's works were presented at the exhibition "Artists from Krakow, generation 80-90" in the museum of contemporary art in Krakow - MOCAK. He practices painting, figurative. He draws inspiration most from mass culture, films and series. I feel good in the aesthetics of kitsch. Stokłosy's paintings are sensual and intelligent, attract and repel, they have their second and third bottoms, just like noir movies.
