Magdalena Zalewska (Mlena)
Magdalena Zalewska (born in 1956), lives and works in Łódź. She is a self-taught creator. Painting is her passion. The most common technique she uses in her work is acrylic on canvas. She likes combinations inspired by nature and the environment. The main theme of the works is especially the depictions of people and animals. A landscape that accompanies a human or animal figure as a background complements the actual content of the picture. Its hallmark is contrasting intense colors. She believes that the most important in painting is color, which automatically triggers aesthetic and emotional experiences in the recipient. Most often they are decorative compositions. Her works are in private collections in Poland.
