Marian Gadzalski
Marian Gadzalski was born in 1934 in Psary, died in 1985 in Warsaw. In the years 1952–1954 he studied at the University of Fire Service in Warsaw, obtaining an officer rank. He attended classes at the "EOS" Experimental Training Center run by Witold Dederka in Warsaw.
In 1958 his photos were accepted for the first time. In the years 1958–1985 he took part in over 200 group exhibitions, he received many awards, medals, awards and diplomas (among others, the medal at MSF Photeurop '60; the title of the Distinguished Member of Photeurop '61, an invitation to the Great Photographers of our time, 1962 ; gold medal at MSF Zell am See in Switzerland, 1963; gold medal in Brussels, III 1964; diploma at World Press Photo 1966; bronze medal in Karlovec in Yugoslavia 1966; bronze medal in Toruń, 1966; II prize of the Minister of Culture and Arts Sport exhibition in Warsaw, 1968; silver medal at the MSF in Sao Paulo, 1968; gold medal at the Eurofestifot '69 in Belgium, gold medal at the Sport Photography Exhibition in Spain, 1970; gold medal at the MSF in Nicosia, Cyprus).
The International Federation of Photographic Art awarded him honorary titles: FIAP ARTIST - AFIAP (1968) and EXCELLENCE FIAP - EFIAP (1976).
In 1974, 1976 and 1982, the artist made artistic travels to the USA, where he photographed horses on American farms.
