Born in 1943 in Cracow. Artistic abilities developed in action under the guidance of his father - a painter, and then at the Fine Arts High School in Krakow. In 1969, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Krakow University of Technology and began his independent artistic activity. Member of ZPAP since 1978. The subjects of his paintings are landscapes, genre scenes, architecture, flowers and portraits.
