Mikołaj Korus

Born on 24.12.1998, a Polish painter, self-taught, living and working in the village of Brzezinki, near Kielce, in the Świętokrzyskie province. He actively works and tries to develop in the direction of painting. He specializes in the technique: acrylic on canvas. In his works, the artist tries to address both current social topics and psychological problems that accompany every person, which constitute the main axis of the painter's creative inspiration. It is also worth adding that each painting also contains a kind of emotional retrospection and is a reflection of the artist's personal feelings and feelings regarding a given topic. The content included in his works is conveyed under the veil of non-obvious, often contradictory symbols, emblematic and fantastic scenes, at the same time showing them in a way that is almost caricatured. In his work, the artist is guided by the assumption that art should be a bridge between everyday life and the internal feeling of emotions, helping people understand their own feelings, behaviors and problems, also fulfilling, in a sense, a therapeutic function. The painter's works can be found at numerous young art auctions, on his social media and at individual exhibitions.
