Paweł Tymcio

Born in 1989 in Szczecinek. A graduate of painting at the University of Arts in Poznań. He defended his diploma in the studio of Dr. Dominik Lejman. In his works, he covers a wide range of painting techniques, creates installations and deals with performance. He participated in exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His fascination with old masters resulted in the creation of his own and unique workshop techniques using, among others: hand-primed canvases, making paints or using beeswax. The artist's works are included in prestigious Polish and foreign collections. He lives and works in Poznań. In 2020, he received a creative scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
