Piotr Romiński
Born in 1967 in Nysa. In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, obtaining a diploma in the studio of prof. Irena Lipska-Zworska, annex in the field of ceramics conservation in the studio of prof. Stanisław Szyba. Currently working at the Academy of Fine Arts Eugeniusz Geppert in Wrocław at the Department of Conservation and Reconstruction of Ceramics and Glass. He deals with unique ceramics, drawing, conservation of ceramic objects, both archaeological and modern, recreates the old methods of firing ceramics, including raku furnace, paper furnace, Hungarian furnace and recreating forgotten ceramic techniques. Works in the collections of art galleries and museums: Zachęta in Opole, Museum in Nysa, Museum in Prudnik, Porcelain Museum in Wałbrzych, Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and with private persons in Poland and abroad. Scholarship holder of the POLITYKA weekly for 2004 - the action "Stay with us".
