Przemysław Podolski

For 11 years he’s been living in Cracow. His diploma was earned there, at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2010. Podolski found out about String Art technique just before finishing his studies, but he started to use it later, after few years. In his art, he’s inspired by issues linked to outer space. String Art makes possible to visualize a certain conception of form in space. It traces shape, creates a defined structure. Materials used by artist, which are sensitive to UV light , give a chance to concentrate only on form – distracting surroundings disappear. People often look at a star, which is nearest to Earth – Proxima Centauri. One of Podolski’s first mandalas, made in String Art technique was dedicated to it
