Sara Winkler

In the years 2014-2019 she studied at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arts in Poznań. In 2018 she took part in the Artagon painting competition, as well as in the teacher-assistant-student exhibition, which took place at the Foucault Pendulum Gallery in Poznań. In 2019 she graduated from master's studies, defending her title with the painting cycle "Family Album - childhood memories" in the studio of prof. dr hab. Marek Przybył. Participant of the Competition for the Best Diplomas of the Academy of Fine Arts in the Armoury of Art in Gdańsk, as well as the Maria Dokowicz competition in Poznań. In the meantime, she had the opportunity to show her works at her first individual exhibition at the Scena Otwarta gallery. In painting, she tries to combine traditional forms of imagery with modern abstraction. Baroque mystery and chiaroscuro meet the richness of structures and broad gestures.
