Good morning. I am 50 years old and live in Gniezno. From an early age, I showed artistic talents, especially abstract forms and shapes, which many people pointed out to me. After school, I actually earned modest money by painting graffiti on shop windows, gyms, discos, etc.... I was a frequent visitor to the Krakow cloth hall, where I spent hours learning the technique of painting portraits from street painters, and alongside them I earned money by dancing, with my dance group, where we were two-time Polish champions and once runner-up. Going to evening high school, I started working at the Theater in my first year at the age of 17. And Fredry in Gniezno, as a mime in Dramatic performances and more. Then the army spent most of the time in the editorial office of the military newspaper, drawing humorous cartoons for the newspaper. After the army, he had his own advertising agency, painting windows, designing visual content for companies, and in the meantime, street painting and commissioned portraits. My next job was in a music studio in Gniezno as a graphic designer and sound engineer, as well as cooperation with a well-known graffiti artist from Szczecin. After moving the music studio to Warsaw, I took a risk and focused on making portraits of people and surreal compositions. Currently, for about 20 years I have been living and making a living solely from oil painting, selling paintings on my own. As far as I remember, for 8 to 10 years he has been mainly cooperating with the auction house in the Netherlands "Catawiki" (catawiki.com), and others. In fact, I have been selling directly for about 2 years because I have regular customers. I am good at every painting topic. I have been trying, and apparently have been doing so for years, to develop my own unique style of painting. For about a year, the technique I have been using is an underpainting with a brush, the next final layer with a palette knife, painted impasto, although delicately applied, and skillful "control" of the palette knife. Today, in the world, my painting is classified as Figurativism (Modern Figurative & Realistic Art and Surrealism), which is how an auction house in the Netherlands describes my works. In what I do, I am still looking for form, color and shape. I prefer formats of at least 80/80, 90/70, 100 and 70 cm. I am a modest person by nature, so I have never had excessive expectations as to the price at which I sell my paintings. Best regards, Sebastian Prusinowski.
