Sławomir Gruca

Born in 1971 in Lubliniec, Poland. He graduated from Pedagogical University of Czestochowa graphics department. His early work were ink graphics, but he has been working with oil pastels for a long time now, evolving into his own unique technique he uses to create amazing pictures. The artist has presented his works in numerous galleries in Poland and abroad, as well as his own gallery. He is a laureate of numerous art contests (in example Satyrykon in Legnica, Poland). Appart from painting Gruca creates book covers, posters and theatre scenography. He cooperated with Fronteras Inutiles Theatre from Montevideo, Urugway, Adam Mickiewicz Theatre from Częstochowa, Poland, MUZA SA Publishers and turkish Aylak Adam Publishers who made more than 14 books with his works. Gruca's works are owned by numerous collectioners in and outside Poland. The artist supports charity auctions.
