Wiaczesław Gejderich

Born in 1973 in Lviv. Studied at the Lviv Academy of Printing at the Department of Book Illustration and Workshop Graphics. After 1998 I have been living permanently in Wrocław. I am involved in graphic design, easel painting, wall painting, workshop graphics. Since 2001 I have participated in many plein airs in several cities in Poland. In 2016 I joined the Breakthru Films studio as an artist-animator in the film Loving Vincent. While working on the film I became interested in the previous productions of the studio where dolls were used for animation, it inspired me to make portraits of dolls and marionettes, eventually it grew into a series of paintings with portrait-fantasy and sometimes surrealistic themes. I continue this style to this day, I develop it and all the time I experiment with it, which often lead in directions far from the beginnings of this series.
