Władimir Pantielejew
Władimir Pantielejew was born in 1957 in Nowosiółki in the Mogilev region. In 1989, he graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1991, he has been a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and Designers. He lives in Grodno.
The artist creates chamber and monumental works. The most important topics are: mythology, seasons, animal studies, anthropology. Each sculpture is a new vision, a different level of understanding and feeling, of original craftsmanship. His sculptures in the urban space of Grodno depict outstanding figures from the field of history and culture, emphasizing the artistic aura of the old town.
The works of Vladimir Pantielejew are characterized by a kind of generalization and laconic forms combined with subtly introduced decorative elements, which gives the works a unique content and, at the same time, a strong inner expression. This favors their perception at the level of symbols that contain complicated ambiguous meanings and saturate them with mysterious power. Sculptural compositions put the recipient in an intuitive and philosophical mood, they set them to seek perfection in the world.
Since 1985, he has participated in numerous exhibitions.
