Wojciech Sęczawa
Wojciech Sęczawa is an artist born in 1961 in Dubienka. He is a Polish sculptor, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the State College of Fine Arts (Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk; in 1986 he obtained a diploma in the studio of prof. Edward Sitek. Since 2002, he has been an assistant professor of the 2nd degree, head of the Basics of Sculpture Studio at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.
The artist presented his works in many galleries in the country (including Gdańsk, Elbląg, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Warsaw) and abroad (Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, France, Switzerland, USA).

1987 - Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art
1993 - 2nd prize for the EKO sculpture - Gdańsk
1993 - silver medal for the portrait: Winter Salon - Warsaw
1995 - Grant EFA - New York / USA
1997 - bronze medal for sculpture at the "Spring Salon" - Warsaw
1998 - gold medal for sculpture at the "Spring Salon" - Warsaw
1999 - 3rd prize in the "Fordon" competition - Bydgoszcz
2000 - 1st prize for the interior design of the church of St. Kazimierz - Gdańsk
2003 - honorable mention for sculpture - Szczecinek
2005 - honorable mention for the design of the "Sailor" monument - Gdynia
2006 - 1st prize in the 2nd edition for the design of the "Sailor" monument - Gdynia
2007 - 1st prize - construction of the interior of the church of St. Kazimierz - Gdańsk
2011 - Laureate of the Award of the President of the City of Gdańsk in the Field of Culture
