Zdzisław Kwiatkowski
(born in 1956 in Chełm) He studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1978-1983. Since 1983, the artist has been dealing with the problems of manipulation, political propaganda, changing the balance of power, determination of elections, freedom in relationships, attempts to maintain a delusion of success, the process of change. He has participated in exhibitions, individual performances and group shows, including: Contemporary Art from Poland - Walter Philips Gallery, Banff, Canada (1985); The Alexandra Center, Halifax, Center en Art Actuel Le Lieu, Quebec, Canada (1988); Artists, Performance, Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (1990); Videoperformance, CSW Warsaw (1990); Arsenał Gallery with a guest appearance at Art'Space, Berlin (1998); European Festival of Performance Art and New Media ART KONTAKT, Lublin (2000); The Labirynt 2 Gallery presents contemporary Polish art, UH Galleries, Hatfield and Folly Gallery, Lancaster, Great Britain (2003); Farbfest in Dessau, Festival, Dessau (2004); Kunstmuseum, Magdeburg (2005); PERFIDIA PERFEARANCE VII, XX1 Gallery, Warsaw (2018).
