Inwocatio Apocalypsis (Diptych) Blue Gold
Special version galvanized with blue metal and gold. .It consists of two separate monoliths of gilded bronze castings, but matching elements - two monumental, mythical heads. When these two parts are combined, they create a new, shared form that evokes mixed feelings in the observer. The sculptures can be separated to have 2 separate pieces, or combined to form 3 separate abstract forms together.
On the one hand, these impressive, majestic heads with superhuman features emanate strength and unwavering power. Their monumental character suggests that they may represent higher-order forces, perhaps even divine or cosmic. Joined together, they create an image of unity and harmony, symbolizing the potential for transformation or even rebirth.
However, the very act of connecting these two elements also arouses unease. They appear to portend impending changes, perhaps difficult or even catastrophic. Their combined form seems to herald an apocalypse or great transformation.
