Penetration, 2018

A work inspired by the work of Zdzisław Beksiński. In the drawing we will find references to the artist's personal experiences, lonely moments, fleeting experiences, observations, transformed into universal symbols of the "distant" because of his inner world. The artist describes the world by processing an object with lines. It is not a sketch but a finished work that envelops the form a moving, sometimes even graphic line. The creator, using the medium of artistic communication, shows the "rational world" but also the irrational world, transience complemented by pain and death. Szymon does not explore the secrets of reality, he does not try to explain them. It is his own world that he materializes in the drawing.
