Towards the Nature- My Van Gogh, 2022

In my paintings, I try to reach for the painting tradition and refer to my great masters in this field of art. Vincent van Gogh has been such a master for me for a long time. The presented painting is my own interpretation of Van Gogh's painting "Tree Trunks In The Grass" from 1890. In this painting, what became important to me was the way of creating the space and structure of plant detail through the line and color and an abstract look at the nature. This picture is as if "drawn" by me with paint and brush. The meadow and the flowers growing in it are a play of colorful, various lines. I painted the tree trunks in the foreground of this painting using my own structural painting technique, so as to obtain a three-dimensional effect and enhance the expression of the entire painting. Looking at the details of this painting, the realism of the presented scene disappears. For me it is an emotional interpretation of nature in the spirit of art and thoughts of Vincent Van Gogh.
