This painting was inspired by my sister, and although the two pieces in this diptych differ from each other, they are united by a deep bond. Subtle golden reflections shine through the darker painting, visible in the first part of the diptych. This interplay symbolizes the connection between two sisters—their differences, but also the profound similarities that, while not immediately apparent, are essential to their relationship.
