Abstraction. Cold colours. Painting comes from the painting series Five Elements and was created during the stay in Gran Canaria, where the artist worked and lived at that time. The entire series reflects emotions, experiences, reflections of place and time, and is an example of site specific creativity. All painting materials and supports were made of materials from the Canary Islands. They are an authentic record of energy and time. The works were presented at the exhibition at the La Provincia Art Gallery in Las Palmas in September 2019. And in Telde in March 2020. As a result of the pandemic, they returned to Poland at the end of 2021. Some have been sold and are in the hands of private collectors. The work presented here entitled ABSTRACTION.COLD COLOURS  is a painting reflection of experiences, a record of time and memories, a model presenting the atmosphere, emotions, reverie, energy and power of place and time. Due to its non-figurativeness, it gives the recipient the possibility of their own personal interpretations, feelings and reflections, allows the recipient to interact with the work, and encourages them to travel inside themselves.
