Autumn color therapy, the 45th New Art Auction
How to overcome the autumn blues? The Art in House Auction House advises you to do it with art – surrounded by paintings and sculptures, we will regain energy and well-being. Where to find artists’ works? At the 45th Auction of New Art, which will take place on October 16 at 7:30 pm at Art in House in Aleje Jerozolimskie 107 in Warsaw.
The October offer will certainly include works that will warm you red with their colors: among them Wojtek Brewka’s street art teddy bears, Agnieszka Sitko’s hyper-realistic shroud, “windy” lovers by Adam Kołakowski, the beautiful watchmaker Joanna Szumska, the unrequited love of Piotr Kamieniarz, the joy of bathing captured by David Pataraia and passionate cellist Krystyna Róż-Pasek.
Among the delicate, somewhat nostalgic paintings you will find the shy angel Sylwia Perczak, the still life masterful in detail by Zbigniew Kopania, a dinner in the company of angelic waiters by Mikołaj Malesza, a human-animal friendship by Ilona Hert, geometric fascinations of Adam Wątor or the children’s world of Monika Krzakiewicz. For those who love femininity captured on canvas, we offer an underwater rusalka (Marzena Machaj), a goddess with three faces (Maria Szypluk), an academic beauty with Pegasus (Jan Dubrowin), two lovers of logic games (Andrejus Kovelinas) and a mysterious connoisseur of wine and tobacco (Henryk Trojan).
If you prefer artworks that go into three dimensions, take a look at our sculptural proposals at the end of the catalog: this is the ceramic king by Arek Szwed; bird guardian of the auction by Marcin Myśliwiec and “Burnt by the sun” beauty by Jacek Opała.
We assure you that it is worth seeing all the works from the catalog live – from October 12 to the day of the auction it will be possible to do it at the pre-auction exhibition at Art in House, from 9:00 to 18:00.
