Thank you for the 6th Auction of Modern Classics!
We would like to thank the artists and bidders for the 6th Auction of Contemporary Classics, which took place last Friday at the Art in House Auction House. Who are the Classics of the Contemporary? On the one hand, they are recognizable artists who have managed to permanently subscribe to the canon of Polish contemporary art; on the other, they are painters and sculptors referring to the style and workshop of the old masters. In May, we gathered works of a high artistic and technical level, sometimes made by names known from publications on contemporary art or from white museum walls.
This time, the highest-bidding works were: “Blue Tulips” by Edward Dwurnik (PLN 90,000), “Magic Ball” by Tomasz Sętowski (PLN 45,000) and “Three Mermaids on a Rock” by Feliks Michał Wygrzywalski (PLN 45,000). Most of the works found their owner, thank you very much to all bidders interested in our offer!
