Alexander Franko was born on August 11, 1958. He was educated at the Artistic Secondary School of Art with specialization in Artistic Metalworking, and then studied at the Graphic Arts Department of the Printing Academy in Lviv. He obtained his diploma in 1991.
He is a member of the Association of Polish Painters, a laureate of the municipal bonus of Bogdan Chmielnicki. He participates in international exhibitions and plein-airs.
